The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive, or WEEE Directive as it is known, was incorporated into UK law by the Waste Electronic and Electrical Equipment Regulations 2006 in January 2007. It applies to all businesses who use, sell, distribute, produce, recycle or treat electrical equipment or components - meaning that in this day and age it applies to almost every organisation.
